Scoring of entries by members

As you can see the website has been totally rebuilt with a fresh new look and way to enter and view entries. The online scoring feature is being used for internal judging of competitions like the PSA & APS Interclub competitions.

This feature is now available for members to use on both Print and Digital competitions. You access online scoring by going to Members > Competitions, then click or tap on the scoring link for the competition collection you want.

Digital competitions – online scoring will be open once the competition closes for entry. This allows members to preview the images & score them before the judges’ results are presented. This is currently only open to competitions in your grade

Print competitions – if you have a smartphone or tablet. You can use this on the meeting night to score each image as you look at them. Please be prepared in advance and have your device logged into the club website before hand. Please give it a try!

I look forward to hearing your feedback on this and the other enhancements evident on the website.

APS Australian Cup – selection comp extended.

The second APS Australian Cup selection comp has been extended to May 16th!

Last year our club was placed seventh in this competition. As was the case last year a. selection competition will be run. Each member can submit two entries for consideration. One image from each member can go forward.

The competition will be online scored by our Advanced members. The top scoring twenty entries will form our club’s entry. Note that the competition is open to all grades and the image does not have to be entered in a club competition. Only images that were part of last years entry are ineligible. You may only participate with one club.

So time to polish up your best images and put them forward!

You will find the entry form in the Non Pointscore area of the Competitions page.

Number of prints that can be entered

The new version of the website has features that allow for managing the maximum number of entries. However the club rules of allowing a different number of entries for each grade cannot be accomodated.

To allow B grade members to enter up to five prints the maximum number is now set to five. Advanced and A grade should only enter three prints.
